Storage Integrations

Your data stays where it belongs — no vendor lock-in

Claudyx connects to your existing AWS S3, Azure Blob, or SharePoint. It adds granular permissions, audit log, and workflow — files physically reside where you're used to them.

How the integration works

1

Choose your storage provider

In company settings, select your provider — Claudyx Drive (simplest), AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft SharePoint, or a custom S3-compatible endpoint.

2

Enter access credentials

For AWS, enter Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and bucket name. For Azure, a Container SAS URL or Service Principal. Access keys are immediately encrypted with AES-256; Claudyx accesses them only to perform file operations.

3

Claudyx manages access, files stay with you

From this point, all new files uploaded to the vault go directly to your bucket or container. Claudyx manages metadata, permissions, and the audit log — physically, files reside where you're used to them.

4

Switch or migrate at any time

Storage can be changed at any time. Existing files stay in the original location. New files go to the new storage. For a full migration, our support team can help.

Supported storage providers

Amazon Web Services — S3

Amazon Web Services — S3

The most widely used cloud storage. Claudyx supports all AWS regions, custom encryption keys (SSE-KMS), versioning, and lifecycle rules on the bucket.

Bucket in any region (eu-central-1 for GDPR)
IAM Access Key or role-based access
SSE-S3 and SSE-KMS encryption support
Compatible with S3 Transfer Acceleration
Microsoft Azure Blob Storage

Microsoft Azure Blob Storage

Ideal for companies in the Microsoft ecosystem. Claudyx connects to your Storage Account via SAS token or Service Principal.

SAS URL or Azure AD Service Principal
Hot / Cool / Archive tier support
Azure Storage Service Encryption
Compatible with Azure Private Endpoints
Microsoft SharePoint

Microsoft SharePoint

Claudyx stores files in your selected SharePoint library. Files remain accessible through the SharePoint UI — Claudyx adds permissions and workflow on top.

SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
Document library as storage backend
Files visible in SharePoint UI too
Authentication via Azure AD App Registration

S3-Compatible Storage (MinIO, Hetzner, Backblaze…)

Any storage compatible with the AWS S3 API — Hetzner Object Storage, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, MinIO (on-premise). Just enter the endpoint URL.

Hetzner Object Storage (EU, great value)
Backblaze B2 (economical option)
MinIO — your own server on Hetzner or on-premise
Wasabi — no egress fees

Why not stick with just SharePoint or OneDrive?

Microsoft 365 provides great storage, but lacks granular per-folder permissions, a full audit log, Czech Data Mailbox (ISDS), and electronic signing without an additional tool.

Capability Claudyx + SharePoint SharePoint alone
Store files on own SharePoint
Granular per-folder permissions (7 levels)
Blind upload (Drop Box)
Audit log of every action with export
Electronic signing
Document templates with workflow
Czech Data Mailbox (ISDS)
Mandatory MFA per company

Claudyx + SharePoint = your data on your infrastructure + Claudyx security and workflow. Best of both worlds.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect Claudyx to storage my company already uses? +

Yes — that's the main idea. If you have a company AWS S3 bucket, Azure Blob Storage, or SharePoint, Claudyx connects to it and your documents stay where they already are. Claudyx manages access permissions and metadata; the files physically reside in your infrastructure.

What is Claudyx Drive and when should I use it? +

Claudyx Drive is managed storage operated by Claudyx on EU servers — the simplest start, zero configuration. Recommended for companies without their own cloud infrastructure. Included in all plans.

Does Claudyx see the content of my files when connected to custom storage? +

Claudyx sees metadata (name, size, date) and file content for features like online editing or template generation. However, files are physically stored with you — on your AWS, Azure, or SharePoint account. Storage access keys are encrypted with AES-256.

How does migrating from one storage to another work? +

Claudyx supports storage switching. Existing files stay in the original location; new files are uploaded to the new storage. For a full migration (moving all files), contact our support team — we'll help with the transfer.

Does the SharePoint integration work as a SharePoint "replacement"? +

No — Claudyx connects to your existing SharePoint site as an additional storage backend. Your SharePoint libraries remain accessible through the SharePoint interface. Claudyx adds granular permissions, signing, and (for Czech companies) ISDS integration on top.

Do you support other S3-compatible storage (Hetzner, Backblaze, MinIO)? +

Yes. Claudyx supports any S3-compatible storage — Hetzner Object Storage, Backblaze B2, MinIO, Wasabi. Just enter the endpoint URL, access key, and secret key.
